When Peyton and Benjamin Fletcher inherit a dilapidated house in the quiet town of Falconwood, Connecticut from Peyton's grandfather, all they want to do is get rid of it. Unfortunately, the will stipulates that the couple must live in the house for a minimum of six months before they sell it. I really enjoyed this book a lot, the story moved along at a very nice pace and really made you bond with the characters. my favorite thing is that the main characters really had flaws that any other person coyld have when going through a divorce. I think I had a little trouble with the narrator at first, she has a very unique voice. As the story went on though I really enjoyed the sound of her, and the way she was able to fistinctly give each character their own voices. It was not a scary book, but it definitwly kept me interested in the mystery and storyline.

Another Great Haunted House Novel!

I enjoy a good ghost story and the reviews for the book format were good so I gave this book a go. I had a hard time getting into it and found the main character, Peyton, annoying through most of the book. I finally became interested in the story around chapter 14, and the following chapters were enjoyable until near the end, which was predictable. This is a book I won’t listen to again.
