Couldn’t stop listening

I could not stop listening to this book. This is my first time listening to any book in this series so I was unaware of any prior story with Jessica in it. I had a bit of a hard time liking Clay… always turning the good that Jessica attempted into something negative and projecting his mom insecurities onto her. Never really admitting to her that he judged her unfairly and maybe vice versa, but his character really got under my skin with how bull headed he is.
