Virtual Voice is AWFUL

The story was decent, but between the absolute lack of inflection, the lack of effective narration with some level of acting skill…virtual voice made me glad I got it free. I will never use cash or credit for vv.

Woman who did not want to marry

What I did not like most of all is the voice. It always sounded like same person speaking, like the men voice where the same as Cat’s. To feminine to me or to the same across the story, why do women of the time period struggle with the thought of marriage.

I actually liked the story. it's what kept me going even though virtual voice was horrible. I wonder if it needed to be editing or if the virtual voice ruined the pronouns. it made it a bit confusing at times. I wish Ruth Urquhart did the narration.

Virtual voice makes me wanna stop audible!

The story was good- virtual voice destroyed the feelings. The writer did not stay authentic to the era by using 19th century slang such as :’yeah right!’; ‘fuck you’ and several other phrases that made me aware she did not do enough research! Disappointing.

Horrible narration

This author will appeal to a young audience as the female character is very immature. The dialogue is not appropriate for the time period, especially when modern language is inserted. The story line is not too bad but the virtual voice narration affects the telling very badly. The inflection of the voice at times sounds like a third grader reading out loud. Reading in the same voice is confusing during dialog because you can’t tell who is speaking. Good thing this was a free book because it’s not worth a credit.
