Is the Bible the inspired word of God or the uninspired word of man?

In deconstructing 75 distasteful delights of biblical proportions, we will investigate the likelihood of not only the Apostle Paul’s claim of the divine origin of scripture, but the claim of the innumerable whom uphold the Bible as the true and infallible word of God.

Tailored for all, from the seasoned expert in the Bible and Biblical studies to the newcomer, to the entrenched fundamentalist to those on the fence, and especially to the parent who may be questioning how to raise their child in regard to faith-based teaching—a countdown exposé that explores the best of the inane, the insane, and the illogical within the world’s most grandiose and best-selling book of all time lies within.

Schneider does a fantastic job demonstrating the absurdities in the "good book," mixed in with his clever use of levity. As the author thoroughly demonstrates, the Bible is filled with debunked science and logic, unjust and irrational punishments, improbabilities, and flat out nonsense. This book will expose you to the Biblical passages you probably didn't learn in Sunday school and won't hear used in sermons.

In this book, you may be exposed to the rules for beating your slaves, passages that are clearly misogynistic, a man being stoned to the death for picking up sticks, acts of cannibalism, ethnic cleansing, and many more examples of a lack morality. Schneider articulates the myths and legends that were borrowed in creating certain stories in the Bible. Whether you consider yourself a Christian or not, this books definitely provides food for thought.
