Her guardian's a gentleman. She wishes he wasn't.

Felicity Taylor and her guardian, Lucas Kincaid, don't see eye to eye on many things, but they both agree that her twenty-first birthday can't come quickly enough. Felicity is an heiress, but she'll lose her fortune if she marries without Kincaid's consent. Unless, of course, she waits until she comes of age, when she'll be able to marry without his permission. And since Felicity hates to ask Kincaid for anything, she's chosen to wait until she turns twenty-one to make her society debut.

Kincaid's role as Felicity's guardian hasn't been easy, but his last duty shouldn't be difficult: he needs to find Felicity a chaperone for the Season. He thinks he's found the perfect candidate in his own future wife, Miss Jane Harris. But unfortunately, the worthy Miss Harris does not approve of Felicity . . .

The Honourable Lucas Kincaid is a sweet Regency romantic comedy, and book 3 in the bestselling Miss Fleming series. Heat Level: Closed-door romance (kisses only).

Enjoyed this book the best of the series. I wish the narrator had a Scottish brogue as in the first Two books of the series. I almost didn’t read this book d/t one of the reviews citing lead character as dumb then good then dumb again. Read it—thoroughly enjoyed it.

Intuitive Felicity

I have to say in the other books of the Virtue Series I did not like the character Miss FelicityTaylor. I found her annoying, and stupid. I don’t appreciate women who act dumb. I liked Kincaide’s character in the other books. He was valiant, and good in this one. A knight in shining armor in the reverse. I did began to enjoy Miss Taylor when she was using her talents of acting dumb in a very intelligent way. After seeing her think in a way that gave everyone in the mess of this story a good way to resolve it all I began to see her as the heroine. I expected her to not act dumb anymore; However, in the ending she is again being dumb. It seems our knight reverse enjoys it too. I will end this review as having very much enjoyed the good writing. interesting characters, twists & turns, plus fun! This book has all that. You will enjoy it.

Fun, relaxing, a good read
