Confusing

I found it hard to keep track of which character was which. No substantial character introduction.

Well written and well read

Love the realism of this medieval fiction, and the subtle way the plot unfolds. Happy to have discovered this author!!

Unfathomable

The narrator was awful. He seemed to be trying deliberately to annoy the listener from undecipherable mumbling to almost shouting. I was constantly mashing volume up and down. Story might be good but who could pay attention with narration as it was.
