Wonderful start of a cozy series

Honest, heartfelt, and sweet. A story about two souls trying to surpass the ordeals of everyday life and heal from past wounds while restoring a manor house in the Sussex countryside. Book two is already in my TBR.

Great narration by Powell with her gentle, soothing voice.

Started good, then…..

The story sucks you in and it was going good. And abruptly it’s over and you are left confused.
