This is my first experience with the novel of Hunchback. Performance was STUNNING. HOWEVER, I often didn't know what was going on as all of the narration and description is cut from this dramatized format. I felt like I spent more time playing catch up on the plot than anything else due to this. The cast was stunning and the way they developed their characters was beautiful. perfect for a second or third go through the story....just not a great option for a first true exposure to the material.

Perfect for a Second time through the book
