Creepy but amazing

Very interesting listen but make sure to pay close attention for certain details that make it so much creepier.
I enjoyed it slowly

Classic and unforgettable

Excellent prose and wonderful storytelling. A true genre as well as literary classic collection for all.

Enjoyed it so much that I got it on Kindle aswell

Some of the stories have lodged in my imagination. The narrator is good and suits the author's hard-boiled characters, although I would say his imitation of female voices made me uncomfortable and comes across as a bit sexist.

Disturbing

Really weirded and creeped me out in a good, but disgusting way. It's horror, but not the cozy and familiar kind. This collection is like if someone took Lovecraft and made a snuff version out of it. I'm talking Naked Lunch kinda weird. Ray Porter does an awesome job. Can't wait to listen to more of his work.

Storyline was a bit hard to follow.

Some of the stories were laid out well, but the over all story line of the conglomeration of stories was hard to follow, this book will require a couple run through at the very least.
Ray Porter does an excellent job with his narration, no complaints there.
