Captain Charles Wyvern owes a great debt to the man who saved his life. This alliance is a chance to repay the captain who has done so much for her care, as well as divert her attention from her grief.

It sounds so simple. Until the stalwart captain is arrested on suspicion of smuggling, and Sophie realizes how much he's come to mean to her. Now she'll have to learn to fight, not only for his freedom but also for his love.

Storyline i enjoyed it so much , i wanted more about the family

I like it from the beginning to the end, the family and little ones girls and the duke

I couldn't stop listening. Loved the last book in this series and love this one also. Some narrators are terrible, but love Mary Sarah. I'm sad there isn't a 3rd or more of Mary Sarah. May listen again another day.

Could not stop listening with very original story with many twist and turns. All of this author's books have important teachable mements.
