Awesome book

Loved it. Story line was intriguing. Enjoyed it so much had to go back and listen to it again.

good story

I enjoyed this book enough that I have already bought the second book in the series. which is something I don't usually do for at least several weeks if not a couple of months to see how the book holds up for me.

Different

The book was different. I enjoyed the story line. Not the usual fantasy with violence and sex. Would be okay for older teens also.

Another winner by Stuart

This was another joyful stroll through the paranormal with believable characters and a comfortable plot plan progression. I hope you enjoy Ronny's adventure as much as I did

2hrs 20 minutes in but is a DNF

I won't return this book for a credit since I've listened to almost half of it, but marked it as Finished in my Audible app and hopefully will be able to see this review to remind me why it's a Did Not Finish, or DNF. The writing is a bit basic or simplistic. Also, every woman so far in the story is unlikeable, even women that aren't in the story but are only referred to are unlikeable. Also, the main character does some inner-talking about her date, and reasons that there is no sex in the first or second date, but on the third date she can "take" him. Is that the way women think? Or is that the way a man writing a woman character thinks? The misogyny was irritating. The story was bland up to the 2 hour 20 minutes point. Maybe the women characters and the story got better later on, but I don't care enough to keep listening. I did wonder if a professional narrator that did different voices and put some acting into the reading would have made a difference. Probably not. There's a saying about lipstick . . .
