sarcastic and witty

the narrator was great. wonderful performance.
steve gilmore has great prose that highlights perfectly the characters he's created. funny witty and engaging stories. I couldn't stop listening and look forward to the rest of the series

Very Enjoyable

A bit (way) off biblical teaching but once past that, a very entertaining and enthralling story. it was most enjoyable

Hilariously Action-Packed

I love the narrator. He perfectly embodied every character in the book and put so much life into them. We have to talk about Owen, though. Perfect comic relief and added so much to the story. I love the banter and his subtle nods at knowing it is a book. I was chuckling and gripped to the whole story... and he was right, losing Rooster would be a tragedy... a throw your book (or Kindle or phone) across the room type tragedy. Thank you for saving him, Owen. Fantastic. I've recommended to by husband to listen to and all my guy friends.

Amazing

Not usually my type of thing.. however I loved it. Funny, irrelevant and very well written, with enough true biblical reference to make it almost seem like… hummm maybe.. Im very impressed with the performance actually it’s the best I’ve ever heard, and that’s saying something…

Action packed with a healthy dose of hilarious sarcasm

Had me absolutely laughing out loud on the edge of my seat while rooting for the good guys to overcome evil in this biblical based supernatural tale. I have not had a story catch and keep my interest…ever. Would highly recommend this unless you’re a dude/chick with no sense of humor or good taste.
