Magical

One of the things I love is when a story can take place in the real world, but there is something hidden and magical there too. This book is perfect for that. I also have a weakness for using elements of time and mystery which was a big reason for me to keep reading. The one thing that almost made me fall out of the story was all the explaining. Throughout the book there was a lot of sitting and talking with people who had to explain the rules and the "concept" of their world, which I found quite boring. I think that it's more fun when things are discovered rather than told, but that's just my personal opinion. I enjoyed the book, but don't think I'll be reading the next one.

I strongly recommend this book. The author has created a parallel universe worthy of your time, imagination and your visit.

What made the experience of listening to The Keepers: The Box and the Dragonfly the most enjoyable?

Seriously great story, the motivations for the antagonist are a little murky, but other than that, very solid. I loved the concept and how Ted Sanders explored the devices and their significance to their users.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely had trouble tearing myself away from this one, started it in the morning and finished it the same day

I did like the characters, and I wish there was more of a back story about Chloé. For example, what happened to her mother?

Omg so good

There is so much mystery in this book it is quite beautiful the narrator was precise with his words and honestly the story got me listening To it for hours I was recently on a road trip and I listen to the whole thing and then I listened to it all again it is a great book I totally recommend it
