The detective trying to start her life over. She also was trying to become an elected detective

Story ok.

The person reading the story never changed her voice between characters making it hard to follow the story line at times

Couldn’t finish

I can’t comment on the story because I couldn’t get past the narrator’s droning voice. She was good if doing “conversations” of characters, but not when setting the scenes.
