From USA Today bestselling author Robert Swartwood comes another bone-chilling thriller that will keep you on guessing until the very last word.

While on vacation in Las Vegas, a businessman wakes up in a strange hotel room to find a dead woman in the bathtub.

Panicked, he runs. But before he can get far, a pair of detectives stop him.

Desperate, he tells them that he’s innocent. That there’s no way he killed the woman. That he’ll do anything not to go to prison.

That’s when they offer him a way out.

But there is no way out—as the detectives will soon learn.

Perfect for fans of Lee Child, Michael Sloan, and Robert Crais, The Killing Room races listeners from one revelation to the next at breathtaking speed.

I selected this one because I had too many credits. I'm glad I chose it. Eduardo Ballerini is the best narrator in my opinion. I'm a bit ashamed to admit that the narrator was a high percentage of the reason I selected it. The story wins.

Looking forward to more

I bought this on sale because of the rave reviews. The audible edition was made superior because of the excellent narration. The story was pretty good. A lot of violence . Will there be a sequel because the ending was a cliffhanger.

An easy listen

An interesting, if a somewhat slow start, that changes to a big reveal and a faster pace. Solid characters like his brother were developed yet the protagonist, for his apparent background, really seems to lack some very basic self and situational awareness. Kinda unprofessional actually. The politics muddy the story and take some unraveling. Lots cleaned up in the end with the personal background along with the required Hail Mary save. It worked well enough to make me search for the next in series but looks like i’ll have to wait. One last thing, for the love of God, bring Stephanie back into the picture. Narrator was very good.

Solid Start

I hate cliff hangers! Now to see if there’s a continuance of the series. Probably should’ve researched that before I began.

Great story

The book was all over the place. It was difficult for me to keep focused on the story.
