very interesting

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! good overall

Historical fiction but with a twist

This is better than an audible original. It has the multiple voices but the historical content is what I really like. Rare to find a mix of both - this is the best historical fiction on audible by far.

Riveting history and excellently told!

This is a great audiobook. Such an interesting tale, I learnt so much about King James but the star of the show is the narrator doing multiple voices - so entertaining!

Great fun and a great history lesson too

This book is about events at a banquet weaving historical moments together with some drama. The narration is brilliant. Really brought it to life with those different characters.
