A missing child draws Deputy Daniel Clark into a bizarre investigation that leaves him questioning what he just witnessed. Soon, Clark learns that the creature he’s been hunting has been hunting him as well. The ultimate battle of man versus beast is about to take place in the Ozarks. Can Clark defeat a beast from out of our nightmares or will the creature claim yet another victim?

Great story terrible editing

I enjoyed the story overall. The narrator was okay, but the editing was terrible. All of the repeats, pauses, and skipping were distracting.

Loved this story

I liked the story line. it had action, mystery and alittle romance. The narrator did a great job, for being new to this.

as in Missourian that knows this location very well it was nice to see locations actually come to live in this book definitely enjoy the book! I definitely was on the edge of my seat definitely want to know what happened next!
