This book does a great job analyzing the rise and fall of Marion Barry and putting him into context, and it holds up well 20+ years after its publication. Unfortunately, the technical quality of this audio book is awful. Quite often you'll hear the narrator repeat the same sentence, or portion of a sentence: The same phrase was said three times in at least one occasion. (This isn't the narrator's fault; it's the same piece of audio being replayed). If you're interested in this topic I recommend getting this book in another format.

Good book, terrible technical quality
