Hotshot Attorney Ashley D'Angelo takes refuge at her grandmother's tranquil home after a terrible case makes her reevaluate everything - even her successful career. Still, no matter what her sisters think, the place isn't magical. She won’t succumb to any “Rose Cottage Curse” and wind up falling head over heels in love....

But after a minor fender bender provides a memorable first meeting, Ashley can't believe how compelled she is by salt-of-the-earth Josh Madison - a man totally unlike the high-powered piranhas she's used to dating. Or is he? There’s far more to Josh than meets the eye, and when Ashley learns his secret, their dream love affair might come to a nightmarish conclusion....

Rarely leave reviews. Word demands. but, I need to get this out. Loved all the books. I can't stand the narration. Really had to force myself to finish each book because of it. She always sounded breathless even when unnecessary. Or maybe whispering, UGH!!!!

Great story!

The author based a major conflict on leaving out a conversation that, in real life, would never have been left out, and that really bothered me. However, I liked the interactions between characters, and the romance, enough to give it 4 stars anyway.

a main conflict wasn't plausible
