Remington Wilde had heartbreak written all over him. He was the most beautiful boy I'd ever seen. When I looked into his midnight eyes, I saw a happy ending I'd never dared to dream of.

I was 17 the first time he asked for my heart. I didn't hesitate to hand it over. In exchange, he gave me the best summer of my life.

He was my first everything. Falling in love felt written in the stars...but our legend, it turns out, was all a lie, and when our story ended, all I had was a broken heart.

Now, he wants a second chance. But this time, I've got more to lose than just my heart.

When the lies that pulled us apart threaten again, it will take more than sweet words from his sinful mouth to convince me.

He says the love of a lifetime deserves a million chances, but am I strong enough to fall again?

Contains mature themes.

"Legend" by Dylan Allen is a captivating read that skillfully weaves together the elements of romance, intrigue, and personal transformation. Allen's storytelling prowess is on full display, delivering a narrative that is both deeply emotional and thoroughly engaging. The characters are meticulously crafted, with the protagonist's journey of growth and self-discovery being particularly compelling. The romance is beautifully developed, striking the perfect balance between passion and depth, making it impossible not to root for the couple at the heart of this story.

What sets "Legend" apart is Allen's ability to infuse the plot with meaningful themes, such as the importance of overcoming one's past and the power of love to heal and transform. The writing is elegant and evocative, with vivid descriptions that bring the settings and emotions to life. While the story follows a familiar trajectory, the unique twists and turns keep the reader guessing and engaged from start to finish.

The only reason this book does not receive a total five-star rating is a few pacing issues in the middle chapters, where the story seems to lag slightly. However, this minor critique does not detract from the overall enjoyment of the book. "Legend" is a testament to Dylan Allen's talent as a storyteller, offering readers a deeply satisfying blend of romance, drama, and redemption. It's a must-read for fans of the genre and anyone looking for a story that entertains and inspires.

Thoroughly enjoyed this story and the narrators were top notch. The story was full of drama, maybe just a tad much for one couple, but I was completely invested in this couple. The narrators were perfect and I felt all the heartache, the love, the despair and joy. Brilliant.

Most of the story took place in the past. They should change the description stating the story is about the couple’s journey.

I am completely shook by the storyline. I completely forgot that I read the first one and came across the second one. I was taken aback by so many different surprises that I couldn’t stand it. I am so looking forward to the next one.

I’m Shook

The male Narrator was good. The story was too long and drawn out. And at times made no sense. The Female narrator was terrible her voice made me loose interest in the story. And couldn’t determine if these people were black or white I wasn’t sure the description were not clear to me the cover certainly is confusing.
