She is absolutely fabulous - we get a double masterpiece because of her reading.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This is as near a perfect story as there can be: it's entertaining, and it depicts in an allegorical way that's not at all didactic the deepest truths about true love. The prince is a passionate lover, and yet, the good of his beloved comes before anything else - which makes his love truly pure and all the more attractive.

My grammar teacher read this in class it was confusing but this was great and is no more confusing

At his best

George McDonald at his best, and the reader was wonderful. I recommend this for anyone at any age. The message is subtle and not sentimental.
