I had a great time listening to this book. Done in two days. I am struggling with finishing my doctoral dissertation end of this year. Many of the doubts and the second thoughts I am experiencing are featured in this book. In many parts I had a feeling that Mathews is speaking directly to me. It actually helps a lot when we realize that we are not struggling alone and there is a way to end the suffering and do the work.

Having read numerous (good) "self help" books...I convinced myself I wasn't going to order anymore!

Not sure why I got this one BUT AM SO GLAD I DID! Working out and getting in shape (by my standards) was always pretty easy .....until this last two and a half years!!!

Nearing 50, going through a divorce and all the other fun stuff that includes...I was in a bad bad place

This book was solely purchased in hopes of regaining my mental edge! It all lies in the mind and it's done it's job!
I will be re listening to this a good handful times more

Since this book has penetrated and sparked life back into my mind and spirit it's a no brainer(no pun intended) that his other book 'bigger stronger leaner' will 100% be legit and work! Heck...the body part of the equation is SIMPLE part!!!

This is the book to begin your journey with. Since starting the book a month ago, I am now at the gym 2-3 times per week, and do not foresee ever stopping. I guess I got the perspective I needed. But the book addresses more than just a physical training. It also covers both research and common sense wisdom on how to live your life optimally. Five stars is not enough for this amazing book!
