The information in this book is a little dated but relevant, however, this book is a very slow listen!

Good Information, Slow!

This is not a book that should have been made into an audiobook. A large majority of it consists of the narrator reading federal laws, which is almost impossible to remember and follow ex “section 42.8 section 6 part b of the FSLA”. Really pointless, honestly, as this is something any prudent HR professional will have in writing and easily accessible. I didn’t learn a lot from this.

Not awful, but really bogged down in droll legalese

After being pleasantly surprised by the audiobook "The Little Black Book of Human Resources", I decided to buy this book on Audible! AUGHHH!!!! This is THE MOST BORING BOOK IN THE WORLD! It is narrated by a bore, the script was written by a bore - just blah stuffy data which should be consigned to a condemned warehouse - 10th floor. If you care anything about your spirit or the spirit of human resources, LEAVE THIS GARBAGE ALONE!

WOAH! Worst Book in the World! Stay Away!!
