The author of this book is a blogger. She focuses on the topic of “marrying rich”, both on the blog and in this book, in order to do some damage control on this issue.

It seems women who choose to marry men of a higher social class are getting more and more negative attention as seen in songs like Kanye West’s “Gold Digger" and the vilification of the late Anna Nicole Smith. Increasingly, women are being painted in a dim light for doing what was considered to be normal, if not necessary, for thousands of years.

By the end of this book, the author hopes that men who may be listening to this book and had mixed feelings about a woman’s intentions to marry him due to his financial status, will have their minds opened to the truth of the scenario. She also hopes that women who have an interest in men of a higher social class will develop confidence to pursue any man that captures their interest, regardless of social class (and men the same towards women). She attempts to encourage society, as a whole, to return to embracing the real reasons for marriage and release fairy-tale ideas that work better on television than they do in the real world. Finally, she promotes the enlightenment of all people towards love for their fellow human.
