When they cross paths with an orphan named Minho from the Remnant Nation, the dangers become real and they don't know who they can trust. The islanders will have to survive long enough to figure out why they are being targeted, who is friend or foe, and what the Godhead has planned for the future of humanity.

didn't have the original feel, I think as a stand alone story it's great, but it's probably not going to get a reread

I like the book, a good series as well. I do recommend it to others.

Meh

The story is quite meh and all over the place. The book’s predecessors were a lot better.

a fresh start

it doesn't feel complicated even in a trilogy but I enjoyed it, can't wait till they all come out

Good book but a bit of a let down.

I had a hard time connecting with some of the characters because this story felt a little rushed. Some plot points were very important to the world of Maze Runner but they were left unexplained, which was disappointing. Nonetheless this book is still a good listen. I still liked most of the characters and the plot for the most part. It’s just some small things throughout it that left me confused.
