Not a conventional detective story

Not so much a detective story but more a story about detectives.
This story is better enjoyed if you like reading about restoration era japan and/or have pasing knowledge about it.
I really enjoyed it! it was a comfortable listen and the ending takes a really interesting angle in putting a cap to the story.
