Has been an amazing tool for me, and an amazing story listen to as well.

Not for new organizers

This book is great if you have a few years of experience as an organizer and/or work for a trade union. For people starting out in the field of labor organizing, or for those working in “new labor”, you have to actively translate the tips into something relevant. Still, there are several tips most of us just don’t relate to. For example, “don’t leave golf clubs in your trunk” is so far from the nature of the organizing I’m doing and suggests this book is just a refresher for the old guard.
