Overwhelming Positivity

This story would receive 5* if it depicted the trials involved as actual trials. Later in the story it depicts things as having been harrowing and ordeal to overcome, but when we read them while she was experiencing them, they were filled with certainty and belonging... overall I liked this story. Virtual voice detracted a bit, but not as badly as some I've listened to.

Sweet, loving story

Definitely a wonderful, HEA, short fantasy romance. Yes, it’s less than 2 hours, but there’s a surprising amount of world building and character development. Good read!

We know going in that the novella. but unfortunately there is absolutely no substance.. it feels more like a basic outline for a longer book. it's definitely cozy so it has great vibes.. but unfortunately it has no filling..

Terrible Narrator

I like cheesy monster romances. I knew what I was getting into when I read the review. What I was not prepared for was the abysmal AI reader. Light hearted tone in a serious scene? Check. Mispronounced words? Check. Intense romantic lines delivered in a rush? Check. This could have been a million times better with a human voice actor. I know AI is cheap and you just want to get your book out, but please…please…please take the time to get a real human to read it.
