Not American enough

I enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed the author’s other books! It engaged me and wasn’t predictable. One point that bothered me was the use of British colloquial terms and situations in a book set in the US. The editors should have caught these errors. I also wondered why only one character had a southern accent when most of the characters were from Virginia. Didn’t make sense to me.

Boring. Law aspect was all wrong.

I found Hannah unlikeable since she justified doing anything and everything in pursuit of her “justice”. So disappointed. So much rang false. I’m no lawyer but everything regarding the case background and court proceedings were easily determined (even by a layperson) to be bs. And the twist at the very end? Ridiculous.

loved it

I enjoyed the storyline and got so engrossed in finding out what was next. I'd definitely recommend it for fans of her work.

Very entertaining

I hope this becomes a series. Loved all the characters. This is a fast and fun listen.
