Decent story. Awful narration.

I was able to get through about half way of the first book before giving up. I understand that it is possibly difficult and expensive to have your book narrated by a professional. However, if it’s not possible, then don’t do it! You are doing a great disservice to your work by choosing to narrate it yourself, especially if you have no experience doing so. Reading a book out loud is NOT the same as narrating. Because of your poor narrating skills, I am certainly not inclined to purchase your books in the future.

Wow!

I lucked out with this one! First time reading a Stuart Jaffe book and I'm glad I took a chance on the Nathan K series. It's definitely like nothing I've ever read! It's action-packed, has unexpected twists and turns and I can't wait to get the next one!
It does seem to drag on in a couple of places, but it always picks up the pace. It's got a couple of strong female leads, which I really like (no damsels in distress waiting for a saviour crap). It's definitely a new sub-genre for me and I can't wait to see how it develops!

binge worthy

after binging all the Max Porter box sets... I checked to see what else Jaffe had written and settled on this series (I'm a fan of box sets)...
same author, same narrating author, but whole different movie running through my brain... hooked again!

Intriguing story

This series is compelling. One immediately is drawn to Nathan as experiences the world as a different being. Mr. Jaffe dies it again!
