For myself and Lauren, my 10-year-old daughter No 3 Beech Close was to be our refuge after two years of hell nursing my sick mother.

In need of a fresh start and wanting to distance ourselves from the bad memories of my mother’s house we moved to Beech Close, a small cul-de-sac of six houses situated around a picture-perfect green.

Slower than usual

Slow to start but great narration and good story/ending. Imogen was wonderful as usual!!! 😁

great story, keeps you interested and wanting to keep listening. lots of twists and turns.

Slow and drawn out

The story was ok, but drawn out . The narrator was terrible .the overly dramatic way she emphasized her words drove me crazy . The ending was not a surprise. Overall I found the book to be boring and terribly narrated.

Honestly, the voice of the narrator was so exaggerated - enunciation was over the top. I can't stand the voice!!

Did not see the ending coming

Love Imogene Church’s narration. She can bring any story to life! Great build up of characters.
