There are two schools of thought for encouraging babies to sleep through the night: the hotly debated Ferber technique of letting the baby "cry it out", or the grin-and-bear-it solution of getting up from dusk to dawn as often as necessary. If you don't believe in letting your baby cry it out, but desperately want to sleep, there is now a third option, presented in Elizabeth Pantley's sanity-saving audiobook The No-Cry Sleep Solution.

Pantley's successful solution has been tested and proven effective by scores of mothers and their babies from across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Based on her research, Pantley's guide provides you with effective strategies to overcoming nap-time and nighttime problems. The No-Cry Sleep Solution offers clearly explained, step-by-step ideas that steer your little ones toward a good night's sleep - all with no crying.

Lots of very good advice in a well structured, understandable guide for struggling, sleep-deprived parents.

Great listening to it even in my sleep deprived state. The best book about sleep I listened to so far. I haven't started implementing the plan so I don't know if it works but regardless of the results I love this book.

Perfect for responsive breastfeeding families

There are some good tips in here, but the author doesn't bring much new or original material here and it's not very functional as an audiobook. That being said, one of the tips has been really helpful to me, so it's worth checking out.

Somewhat helpful

This book has a large number of charts and frequent box outs of testimonials from moms. Unfortunately, the context is lost when the physical format of the book is simply read in sequence by the othetwise very capable and well done narration.
Get this book in physical form for sure, it’s otherwise very helpful taken all together with a relatively small amount of useless testimonial, self praise for the method, or condemnation of other methods that I found from other authors.

In written form a 5*, audio only 4
