A loving routine. A flexible schedule. Mom always knows best!

Your precious newborn comes into the world like a bud on the verge of blooming, eager to grasp the rhythm of life. As the developing brain embarks on its journey outside the womb, it instinctively seeks to organize and make sense of this new world, yet it is unable to sculpt the cycles of feed-wake and sleep that it needs to thrive. This is where the parents step in, as caretakers and creators, much like the artisans molding clay, they begin to shape the child's world with gentle precision guided by Babywise Sleep Solutions. Serving as a reliable compass, this multigenerational resource teaches not only the HOW of crafting the necessary structure within a baby's day but wisdom of the Ezzos' Parent Directed Feed strategy.

Millions of families across the continents and 25 languages have come to understand that routine and predictability are two assets that help babies thrive.

It basically just talks about sleep-wake windows and putting your baby on a feeding schedule to facilitate longer sleep I guess? No real tips or plans for getting a baby to sleep.

My baby has always taken shorter naps and spent more time awake (despite our best efforts). We just wanted to transition her to sleeping in her own bed in a non-traumatic way, so this book is really targeted at expectant and new mothers, not us. But evenso, the information in this book could be easily laid out in a blog post with charts rather than a book.

Wake windows

The authors know a lot about baby schedules, but they do not know very much about turtles. Skip through the rambling digressions and get to the good stuff. Also, take what they say with a grain of salt. The authors present some theories that are not supported by scientific evidence as facts. The schedules work, but sometimes not for the reasons given by the authors.

Good info, bad writing

This book is the definition of: could have been summarized in a memo.
The info is VERY GOOD AND VALUABLE but the prose is by far the worst.

Lots of fluff
