Worth the listen

Give it 2 chapters then it gets really interesting then it’s a veritable roller coaster

loved it start to finish. was over too soon. will have to listen a second time. thank you for keeping me entertained

Cringeworthy

Made it through the first book out of stubbornness but bailed on the second. Narrator was pretty bad, lots of mispronunciation and couldn't differentiate between characters. Plot was weak and obvious.

Minor Complaint

I really like this author.
Story was good 👍.
But narrator (deep gravely voice) makes every female voice a (20 yrs chain-smoking 3 packs a day) hag!! Not too distracting at first, but it gets worse and worse and worse over time. Like the female voices are “SUPER manly” instead of just lifetime chain-smokers.
