The basis of the 1978 British comedy film starring Monty Python member Graham Chapman.

Arthur Harris is a happily married man whose wife, Fiona, decides to leave him. Devastated by this, he tries to commit suicide. After a few failed attempts, one day the doorbell rings. An "odd job man" asks if there are any odd jobs that he can perform, so Arthur decides to hire the man to kill him. When his wife returns, Arthur is unable to cancel the contract, and the man he hired still tries to kill him.

I haven't laughed so hard to an audiobook in a LONG TIME.

Narrating with the gusto and humor of a hilarious Monty Python sketch, Hannibal Hills gives us his rendition of The Odd Job.

A dark slapstick caper that will entertain far after you finish listening.

Absolutely Brilliant and Hysterical!

This book was something else. It’s not my usual genre but once in a while we need to step out of the box. Just be sure you know what you’re stepping in. 😂
This poor guy really gets himself in a mess and it just keeps getting worse or better depending on how you look at it.
There were moments of hilarity and one small section that seemed a bit out of place but mostly I was laughing out loud, literally.
The narration was fantastic! Hannibal Hills’ performance was stellar. He really captured all the characters and created each scene with excitement and intrigue. Well done!
This is a standalone book.
I recommend this book.
