After the death of her estranged father, Tracey returns to the remote cabin she grew up in. Hiking through the forest, teenage Alicia and her friends get lost in the snow. They stumble upon a compound run by extremists, and when the teens see too much, only Alicia manages to escape. She searches for help and comes across a secluded cabin.

With the panicked girl banging on her door, Tracey is launched into combat mode, awakening her inner demons. Though she suffers from extreme PTSD, she is skilled in combat, making her a deadly adversary—perhaps too deadly. As a snowstorm hammers down, the women must work together to save Alicia’s friends from their captors.

Alicia has a protector now, but what if this strange old lady is even more dangerous than the people she’s escaped from?

Intrigue

From the beginning to the end the book had me hooked. Great story and characters. The narration was also great for this particular story.

A struggle with pain

The Old Lady tells a blood thirsty tale, of one women's internal struggles of a life filled with meat pain. Story leads you through her inter struggles of her tramatic and violent upbringing by a war broken father and the effects of his abuse.
Pack full of blood, action and surprise with ever page. This book is just what we have come to love from a Kristopher Triana.

Intriguing

Loved the narrator’s voice, character changes, and story flow. Riveting, suspenseful character and story development.

Great book and the end shocked me.

This story kept me hooked all the way to the end. The story about Tracy was tragic but her brutality is legendary

Triana at his best

Big fan of Triana and this one didn't disappoint. I couldn't stop listening. Violence and gore, but for survival and revenge!
