In the early 20th century, a man in Pakistan happened to walk by a small Christian chapel. Inside the preacher was speaking about the love of God. The man, a physician, took the same route the next day and stopped to listen. This was the beginning of a decades long commitment by the doctor to bring more people to faith in Jesus. His children and grandchildren continued those efforts.

The result of that commitment came to the United States in the person of the doctor's grandson, Farrukh Khan. Today there are 30 missionaries of the mission society begun by Rev. Farrukh Khan, People of The Book Lutheran Outreach extending God's love in America.

One of the best missionary biographies I have ever read! I highly recommend it. It covers 3 generations of faithful Christians.
