Captivating

It started off a tad bit slow but was worth the wait. My heart strings were in such a clutch for a good portion of the book. I love the unexpectedness about it. You really grow a fondness of the characters and the ending is a nice supise.

Officially One of My Favorites

I didn't expect that much from this book. It ended up being a very pleasant surprise. The author created beautifully flawed but lovable characters. This is the first book in a while for me where I was captivated throughout the entire listen. I'm currently listening to it for the second time and I'm enjoying it just as much as the first time.

Excellent

I will say the same thing that nearly all the other reviews say...This book is truly excellent. If you are a fan of Sapphic books that have princesses, tyrants, warriors, and a dystopian-like world, you will give this book five stars, as I did.

Storyline!!!

I was addicted to this audio. I spent the day listening. I needed a queer storyline like this. Very Hunger Games. I hope TJ continues to write more!!

Captivating!!

This book is a true gem 💎 !! A very creatively different type of dystopian story in which the USA as we know it, no longer exists, though societal ails/evils of classism, wealth/poverty, corruption and abuse of power still persist. This book is both character and plot driven, with characters and dialogue and story all brought to life by the wonderful performance of Jen Jayden!! She was simply brilliant!
You will not be disappointed!!
