Occult page-turner

This is the book equivalent of a fun TV show episode about monsters. It feels very much like a pilot of a show that I want more of. Easy listening.

Fun Little Adventure

Great novella overall, the characters are fun, the story was pretty great, and while I know this doesn't take place in Slim's universe, it could fit right in honestly. Worth the time listening to it, hope to hear more about our rag tag team of hitmen.

Interesting

This wasn’t one of Kadrey’s better stories, but it was short enough to be interesting. The narrator was alright, but there were times I had difficulty distinguishing which character was speaking. Overall, it’s fun & I did enjoy it.

noir supernatural fun. so glad there's more coming. looking forward to hearing more of their adventures

Good but not great!

Not too bad at all for a short story, I love all things Kadrey but there were a few lines that were cornier than what he usually seems to write. That was literally the only thing that kept it from getting 5 stars from me.
