Critics raved about Gerald Jay’s thrilling and expertly crafted debut novel, The Paris Directive.

When ruthless assassin Klaus Reiner is hired to kill an American industrialist vacationing in France, he doesn’t count on three tourists getting caught in the crossfire. And he certainly doesn’t count on any trouble from an aging yet dogged investigator by the name of Inspector Paul Mazarelle.

This was an insult to the intelligence of the reader. In fact it was an insult to France and it's people. I couldn't recommend it less.

Sparsely believable plot, filled with dreadfully stereotypical characters.
