Karen is an art student attending her first overnight summer camp. She loves being around other artists. Her days are spent drawing, meeting new friends, and fluttering over a super-hot guy who seems to have the same feelings for her. Everything seems to be going well, until she discovers her roommate's unique method for creating art.

A strange infatuation leads to deadly consequences in this spooky tale of horror.

I needed to read something for a short commute. This was perfect. The story had me from the start. Super creepy ending. I look forward to listening to more from L.V. Pires.

A short but creepy horror tale, aimed at the YA crowd. Karen is attending a summer camp for budding artists and her roommate is a little too weird for most people. The story is pretty good and has the requisite twist at the end that most horror fans like, but I would have liked a little more to the story.

The narrator does a pretty good job, but her voice was a little too "valley girl" for my taste. I was given the chance to listen to this audiobook by the author/narrator/publisher and chose to review it.

This would be an awesome beginning of a new series. It’s creepy and a bit scary with a lot of weird thrown in for good measure.

This was one amazing short story. Horror at its best. The characters and plot complemented each other. The narrator ‘s voice definitely helped.

Suspenseful

I was gifted an Audible version of this book from the author through Story Origin. The narrator has an excellent voice, just not for horror. She did not,at all, make this story sound spooky.
I wonder, if I would have read it myself, if it would have been better. Her portrait was creepy. The story is very short. The characters are still a mystery to me. They were not at all fleshed out. But I enjoyed the listen.

A creepy portrait.
