What is a predator without his prey?
Elyse Silver was never mine to keep.

The day I saved her life, I ensured we would forever be enemies.
Hating her was easy.
Bullying her, as simple as breathing.
Stopping myself from falling for her… I had no idea how impossible that would become.
The harder I fought, the deeper I fell.

Love and happiness have never been part of my plan, but letting Elyse go isn’t an option, either.
Unfortunately, the truth always finds a way of revealing itself, and by the time she realizes who the real predator is, it’ll be too late for her to escape the trap I’ve put her in.

Note: this is NOT a standalone and must be listened to AFTER The Prey. This is a dark romance novel that contains numerous triggers. Listener discretion is advised.

This book was amazing!! I loved the final story line for them! The lengths he went for her and she had no clue was perfection!!! I can’t wait for what’s to come next

Couldn’t have ended any better

This female is insane. Send her back, hate her. He deserves better. With her history I don't believe she would feel this way and If so, it's too much. I cannot stand her. Hoping the next in the series has better female leads.

Loved Except the lead female

Elyse is one of the worst female characters I have ever read about. She has no common sense. She’s supposedly traumatized by her father. Harps about Sebastian being a killer and then tries to make a deal with her insane father to save Sebastian‘s life like he is helpless. It would’ve been nice to learn more about Sebastian‘s background.

Elyse is lacking

A story that is definitely packed with morally grey characters and beyond. But I can‘t stop reading. Not sure what that says about my psychological makeup.

What a ride on the dark side...

I like book 1 better than book 2. I found the FMC insufferable in book 2.

Also the FMC narrator was not that great. She sounds like she might have a lisps? But also she emphasis the last letter of certain words like thinK, gooD, etc it was driving me crazy. I didn’t noticed it in book 1 but for book 2 it was very hard to miss.
