5 Crazy Ass Must Listen/Read Stars!!!!!

Let's talk narrators. They were amazing. I really felt like they suited the characters and brought them to life.
Next, storyline. I didn't really know what to expect with this one after reading the blurb. I've been quite the audiobook whore lately so I didn't hesitate to hit one-click after seeing the ebook was 99 cents and $1.99 for audio narration. Hello, that was a no-brainer for me. I digress. So, the storyline. I was immediately intrigued right from the start. I did like the twist in which the characters don't fall for who they are supposed to fall for. And then throw in more twists and turns, and ups and downs and it became quite the roller coaster ride of a read.
Now for the characters themselves. I loved them all with the exception of Seth. I'm not too sure about him yet. He binged my creeper radar. Cal and Zelda are explosive and my heart sped up every time they were together. Cal sure heated up my kindle. I loved their banter. Rowan and Ava surprised me and I instantly was championing for them to get together.
And lastly, I need A Player for a Princess like yesterday. I need to know what happens. Especially, after that doozy of a cliffy ending.
Grab this up now! Heck the price is more than worth it!

I so enjoyed listening to this!

Audiobook: Narrators – Joel Froomkin, Natalie Duke
This duo did a great job with the many characters introduced in this book, many who had an accent. Other than one place, the accent was done in such a way that I never struggled to understand what was being said. Mr. Froomkin definitely does an exceptional job of the male voices, giving added characterization to them to the point I knew who was speaking without the book having to tell me.

Wow! This was nothing like I expected! This is actually two stories/romances in one.

First we have Zelda and Cal. They can’t keep their eyes or hands off of each other, even though Zee was hired to make Cal’s brother, the future king, fall for her. Everything between this couple sizzled with sexy undertones. As the more carefree of the brothers, Cal didn’t hesitate to flirt and make his move. There were times he had to step back and those times drove him crazy.

The second story is Rowan and Ava. From the minute Rowan heard, then saw Ava, he was a goner. Despite what was expected of him and that Ava didn’t fit into the picture of those expectations, he wanted her more than his next breath. This was the more serious of the two relationships, lacking the sharp wit that existed between Zee and Cal. That doesn’t mean they didn’t set their own fires along the way, but everything between them was deeper, more intense. I loved that each couple had a different feel to them.

This has some political intrigue, humor, and some danger that left me breathless from shock. While one couple finds a happy place at the book’s conclusion, the other couple leave us with a cliffhanger. I was immediately pulled into this story, kept engaged by not only the characters but the plotline, and now determined to find out what will happen to that couple that didn’t get their happy ever after. This is different than the current books I’ve been reading by this author and I’m delighted to see another side to her talent in this earlier publication.

Two stories in one...both amazing!!!

The story was quite enjoyable.

The two Princes were different but close. I very much enjoyed their relationship.

The sisters relationship was wonderful also!

Loved how the girls connected with the princes also. Looking forward to Z and Cal’s Happy Ending with the next one

The narration was hit and miss.

The male (Joel Froomkin) when voicing either of the Princes was great.

When voicing the Grand Duke with the heavy French accent was cringe worthy. (Sorry)

The female (Natalie Duke) when voicing the girls was perfectly lovely.

She did a good job with the men after she got into it a bit.

Unique
