The characters were great, the actors really brought the characters to life. Of course the stories are over the top but the stories are well written and entertaining.

Each book contains insta-love, passion, and overall goodness. If you like over the top alpha males whom go after what they want, and turn all gooey when they get it; you’ll love these sweet, and sexy stories. I’ve read all of these books, but listening to them is a wonderful delight.

Delightful

I’m a huge fan of Alexa Riley and she’s almost always a “one-click” author for me. I definitely like her earlier works better than some of the new stuff, but I did end up buying each of the Princess books individually. I have been waiting for some of her earlier books to come out on Audible (for a long time, there was only one that wasn’t part of the For Her and For You series, which I loathe).

That being said, since I owned the individual books, I knew the premise going in. The female author was good and I had no issues with her. The male author, however, kind of bugged me. His voice was better in the second story than the first. I understand that he had to voice differently based on personalities, but the first one was tough to get through listening to his voice. It sounded less “alpha” and more “a**hole.” The other stories he voiced were better, so I was able to put that aside to finish the books, but it still irked me. You win some, you lose some...

I could have done without the male narrator...

The same story was repeated in each story, just with different characters. In the first story, the male narrator sounded like Scar from the Lion King.

It was okay

I've owned this audiobook for a while now and it took me forever to get through it. The female reading tried to put a British accent on two of the characters and failed- she couldn't keep it going throughout the sentences. I wasn't too enamored with the male voice either. It just didn't work for me. I kind of found it a little creepy.

The stories are vintage AR with the insta love, but again, I was put off by some of the dialogue. I've never been a fan of role play so when the men are demanding to be called 'King' while they're in bed just weirds me out.

Okay- not great.
