As my first Cassandra Robbins book I wasn’t sure if I would be okay reading book 2 without reading book 1 but I had no problem diving in and understanding. I was so intrigued by this story. I love a Professor/ Student storyline! Brett Powers, phew, I am in love with that man! And Corvin King did a fantastic job narrating the powerful, BDE Brett Powers. He was a perfect choice for the role and he absolutely nailed the narration! This was also in duet narration which I am a huge fan of, I think it tells the story so much smoother. Alexandrea quickly grew on me as a character and I really loved her and felt sorry she had such a brat of a sister! Every reason says Alexandrea and Brett should stay away from each other. But their pull is impossible to break and they repeatedly find themselves in situations together. Will the politics of the school be too much? Can they find a way to stay together? There are some books that just come across better in audio then ebook and I absolutely think this is one of them!

I listened to this one and finished it in less than 24hrs- I couldn’t put it down! The audio was absolutely phenomenal!

Alex is headed off to start her first year of college across the country- and walks right into Brett Powers’ class where the attraction and and tension starts from minute one. Brett is preparing to become the new dean, and oozes confidence and sex appeal. He knows he shouldn’t want Alexandria, but that’s not going to keep him from having her.
