As your paralegal (and ex), I have to be honest: You’re a horrible lawyer.

Honestly, the worst I’ve ever seen.

You never communicate, you pile on overtime, and you’re constantly in a bad mood.

Now, about those panties on your desk. No, that wasn’t a desperate cry for your attention. It was the result of a lost bet with my roommate. But if you were even half the lawyer you claim to be, you’d have figured that out without all the ego-tripping.

And about that phone call you overheard, yes, I did say I’m sorry I can’t sleep with you again. That’s because I actually value my sanity and self-respect.

As for my weekend plans? Definitely none of your business.

Anyway, I’ve been laughing at this whole situation for weeks, so let me keep it short:

I quit.

Yep, you read that right, Lawzilla, I’m done.

Maybe dial down the ego or at least learn to pay your staff better.

Awkward boss and exgirlfriend working relationship.

This story's banters from the FMC and the support from the BFF was annoying.
Still a fan of listening to CJ and Teddy.

The narrators were absolutely fabulous. The could listen Teddy Hamilton talk for days!

Absolutely amazing story line and the MMC and FMC’s banter was on point. Favorite scene was when he caught her in his office for the panty prank 🤣

Why Does Arthur’s Make Females Behave Like a Teenager

Why does authors make the female in too many stories behave like a teenager when they first kiss the male in the story. They ALL have to call their girlfriend and tell them “we kissed”. Really .. WHY ??? In this story the female is 30 years old. I do not know a single 30 year old woman that behaves like that. Then in other stories, the author mentions men “rocking on their heels”. Never seen that in my life.

I read it, but couldn't get into the story

I needed a Q for my A-to-Z duet narrated audiobook this year and all I can say is....
...mission accomplished. 🤷‍♀️

The story was OK, but I struggled with the false advertising... 📰
The blurb on Goodreads is an extract of an event that happens more than halfway through the story, i.e. it is not the actual premise. I did not read the Amazon one, which is - luckily - different.

Her negative thoughts....love him he is way to cute, and playful overall the story written
