lots of different options to figure out

will read more by this author. good story. lots of other stories within. keep you guessing.

Suspenseful

I usually can pick out the “bad guy” by at least the middle of a book. This one had me questioning who did it. Absolutely loved the ending. The reader can be a little annoying but I guess they really got into the rolls of the characters.

Will the police believe her?

This was a new to me author and Nancy Bush drew me in with the cover and the fact that Veronica, Ronnie, Quick doesn't always have accurate premonitions, sometimes what she visions doesn't come true.
She was ten years old when the visions started coming to her, but now she works as an assistant at her father's law firm and the visions have come back. Not only have they came back, but they play out the same scene. So she goes to the police with just the fact that *something* is happening, but she doesn't have a location, a name, or what is exactly happening. Top that off she was to tell officer Sloan, who was a kid she grew up with and who the visions told her she would marry. Officer Sloan was not exactly sure if he believed her, after all what actual proof does she have?
Ronnie is confident she will be pointed in the right direction to find a possible murderer or at least stop the murder from happening!

The Psychic is multi POV so you add in that layer to this thriller and mystery.

Forced Romance and predictable

The romance in this book felt forced and there was no chemistry at all between the two characters. I knew who did it all from the beginning and the narrator towards the end started to sound so whiny it made the book hard to finish. Also, I can’t tell if it’s the narrator’s fault or the author’s fault, but it was very confusing how quickly they switched between storylines. The narrator never paused when switching from one storyline to the next.
