One of the most pragmatic, relevant and actionable sales books I’ve ever read. I feel like I can start improving now and will find quick and lasting results.

As a second line sales leader at Splunk, I’ve made this book required reading. The best sellers and sales leader will acknowledge that they do much of what’s taught in this book, but very few will be able to speak to it and more importantly coach others to it with effectiveness. This book discusses an approach to sales that can act like a tuning fork for sellers and sales leaders. Learn it, coach to it, and inspect it and get your sales teams and their pipeline in tune.

Must read for every enterprise seller and sales leader

There are so few books on sales where you really learn anything. This book should be on the shortlist for every early and mid career sales executive. It was highly recommended on sales podcasts, and the recommendation is deserved.

This book sheds light on some of the most pressing challenges of working in complex sales. The storytelling is memorable and relevant. Each character has a different voice and shares their POV through the progress of the book. This keep things engaging and dynamic to really grasps the concepts. The chapters are broken in to small sections for quick reference of topics.

If you’ve been in sales for a while, you’ll be able to relate to a lot of the pains shared. Though the book is meant to aide the sales leader, it’s helpful for reps to understand their leader’s expectations and how they contribute to the success of their organizations.

It’s one of the best sales books I’ve listened to and I highly recommend it.
