The war is over. A damaged world awaits healing. Will the self-proclaimed savior destroy and dominate … or restore and reconcile?

Rodney Stippleman gladly traded his weapons for a hammer and saw. After a catastrophic global conflict suddenly ended when the enemy’s troops vanished, the weary soldier became a carpenter again, focused on rebuilding, rebuilding a demolished house and a shattered community. But he can’t shake his battle-hardened skepticism when a new leader in Jerusalem arises, claiming to be the lord of all the earth.

Still wary when emissaries of this new ruler arrive to offer life-giving aid, Rodney struggles to believe they’re not hiding something. And the newcomer’s too-good-to-be-true presence threatens to plunge the land back into deadly conflict. He fears the marks of global trauma will jeopardize any hope for future peace.

Out of Tribulation is the mind-expanding first book in The Reign series of futuristic Christian fiction. If you like imaginative settings, modern-day moral questions, and light out of darkness stories, then you’ll love Jeffrey McClain Jones’s tale of global renewal.

It's nice to listen to a book that doesn't contain swearing, plus giving readers/listeners an insight into God and the Bible.

A refreshing story

This is worth the credit to purchase. I’m only sorry there isn’t a second book ready to listen to, yet.

The story moved me beyond words ! It moved me spiritually in a wonderful way! I cried , laughed , felt happy and sad . I felt God love through the pages as it was read to me. I examined myself and my walk with Jesus. For he is my savior and Lord. I wished I was in Jerusalem singing and dancing and praising my King Jesus too !

It was an interesting story, but the premise assumes that not every eye will see and not every knee bow when Jesus returns. I get communications break down during tribulation period, but that people are still blaming aliens after Jesus’ return is taking creative license 🪪 off the charts. It was mildly entertaining and clearly demonstrated the depravity of the human heart 🫀 but I couldn’t get past the premise. It seemed like the “eternal” folks were deliberately obtuse in preventing what should have been the wonderful news of the Kingdom from reaching people. God is truth, but it wasn’t evident here. Could have handled the children taken situation so much better, handling of situations inconsistent with the character of God. Potential for a powerful redemptive story lost here. Sad. The only good thing was that it wasn’t virtual voice and that it was free.

Biblically out there 👽
