The last thing Landon Walker remembered was a blinding light. Now, he's in a field, with no memory of who he is, where he came from, or anything about his past. But when Landon starts healing the sick and performing miracles, he attracts the attention of both the heavenly and the demonic.

Hunted by demons and shadowed by angels, Landon begins to realize that he's much more than just some "John Doe." He's the Unfallen, and the fate of the world may rest in his hands.

The Unfallen is the first book in this fast-paced, action-packed Christian suspense series. Fans of novels by Frank Peretti, like This Present Darkness, or fans of Lynette Eason, Alana Terry, Creston Mapes, or Colleen Coble, will fall in love with Landon Walker. An action-packed redemption and spiritual warfare story.

This book was excellent! Exciting, thrilling and often thought provoking. I to listen to it in small doses or I would have listened in one sitting!
A worthy listen. I will be listening to his other books.

I really enjoyed the book. The storyline was well thought out. It had me thinking and awaiting the next book.

Christian fiction

This series was advertised as the next Frank Peretti or Ted Dekker so I was intrigued as these two are some of my favorites. One way in which they are different is neither of them used profanity. These are supposedly Christian fiction and cussing doesn’t coincide with that genre. That is a major turn off for me as the words are totally unnecessary. As far as the story, I’m at the beginning and it’s kids slow as if the author is trying to draw out the story so it’s not too short. I will update my review if necessary when I’ve finished the book.

New author for me

The characters were very relatable. What really hit home was toward the end when Landon and Marcus had it out in Landon's unconscious mind - yet supernatural world. I went thru almost that exact fight in 2013 & 2014. It seems I battled for months against all the lies. The fact that the author is also very well educated in theology and obviously loves God with all his heart, soul, and strength gives me peace about reading something like this work for leisure. Obviously some parts are imagination, not scripture, so I don't take the writing as full gospel truth, but do know I can put my guard down just a little to just enjoy what I'm sure will become a classic akin to Narnia.

the over-arching theme that nobody is too far gone that they cannot still choose and come back to God
